The 2024 Fiesta Bowl will be played on Tuesday, December 31st at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This 53rd edition of the Fiesta Bowl will not be a College Football Semifinal game. The game will feature the #4 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions (#6 seed) taking on the #9 ranked Boise State Broncos (#3 seed).
Penn State are 11 point favorites over Boise State heading into the game. Penn State finished with a 11-2 record, but lost to Oregon in the Big Ten Championship game resulting in them having to play in the first round of the College Football Playoff. Penn State easily defeated SMU 38-10 to advance to the quarterfinal.
Boise State finished their season with a 12-1 record and the Mountain West title to secure the #3 seed in the College Football Playoff.
